Weekend Streaming Options

We're getting towards the end of the week and that means you may need a few extra points to get a win this week. One of the best ways to do this is by picking up a pitcher just for his start. If you have an extra start this week, or need a few more stats to pad those categories, check out these pitchers to stream.

Bryce Elder matches up against a Royals team on Saturday that ranks in the bottom of the league in batting average and runs scored. The 23 year old has yet to give up a run through 2 starts this year while striking out 13. Elder is rostered in only 34.9% of ESPN leagues and could be worth keeping on the roster if the Braves keep him in the rotation.

Anthony Desclafani has been brilliant this season, pitching 12.1 innings with 11 K's and a 0.73 ERA. His hot beginning to the season plus a great matchup Saturday against the Detroit Tigers makes him a great streaming option. The Tigers have scored the least amount of runs in the majors this year while only winning 3 games so far. Desclafani is rostered in 50.6% of ESPN leagues. While he is rostered in a higher percentage of leagues than most of our streamers, we wanted to include him due to how well he is pitched. If he isn't available in your league you can also consider Kyle Gibson for a Saturday start.

Wade Miley matches up Sunday against a Padres team that has underperformed so far this season. While they have the offensive power to put up a lot of runs, they have only scored at a fairly average pace. Admittingly, Miley is not the best streaming option however a lot of teams have their ace going on Sunday so most starters will not be available to pick up. If you are in a pinch and need one more guy on Sunday, Miley is your best bet. He is rostered in 3.1% of ESPN leagues and is 1-1 this year with a 2.45 ERA and 6 K's.
