Weekend Streaming Options

We're getting towards the end of the week and that means you may need a few extra points to get a win this week. One of the best ways to do this is by picking up a pitcher just for his start. If you have an extra start this week, or need a few more stats to pad those categories, check out these pitchers to stream.

Gavin Williams looks to bounce back after giving up 4 runs on 7 hits to the Braves in his last start. The rookie has decent numbers through 3 starts posting a 3.79 ERA with 12 K’s in 19 IP but still is looking for his first MLB win. His matchup tomorrow against the Royals looks to be a good opportunity for the occasion as the Royals are one of the worst offensive teams. The 23 year is rostered in 13.5% of ESPN leagues and is a great pick up if you’re in need of a start.

Dane Dunning has been lights out as of late, not allowing more than 2 ER’s in each of his last 4 starts. Facing off against the Nationals on Sunday presents a good chance at extending that streak to 5 games. The 28 year old is having a breakout year of sorts as he is 8-1 with a 2.61 ERA and 55 K’s through 86.1 IP. Rostered in 33.3% of ESPN leagues, Dunning should be added until his great stretch comes to an end.

Tarik Skubal did not allow a hit through 4 innings while striking out 6 in his season debut against the A’s. While his matchup against the Blue Jays on Sunday presents a tougher test, he is coming off of a career season. The lefty finished the year with a 3.52 ERA and 117 K’s through 117.2 IP. Skubal is rostered in 16.8% of ESPN leagues and should be added with hopes that he can have repeat year.
