Dean Kremer has been another name in the Orioles rotation that has quietly put up a productive season. His numbers definitely won’t blow you away, as he is 4-1 with a 4.97 ERA and 32 K’s in 41.2 IP, but he has managed to get 20+ fantasy points in 4 of his last 5 starts. Digging a little further, he gave up 1 ER or less in 3 of those 5 starts so his performance may not be as bad as the numbers suggest. Rostered in only 3.3% of ESPN leagues, the 27 year old may be worth a pick up especially on a hot Orioles team.

Dominic Fletcher has been on a tear ever since making his MLB debut for the Diamondbacks a couple of weeks ago. The DBacks #15 prospect is hitting .429 with 2 HR’s and 13 RBI’s through 13 games earning himself an everyday role in the outfield. You can definitely expect some cooling off but it’s worth riding the rookie’s hot streak as he is rostered in 4.4% of ESPN leagues.

Christopher Morel has only played in 5 MLB games this season but has made a mighty impact. The 23 year old is hitting .381 with 3 HR’s and 6 RBI’s with a stolen base mixed in. He’s currently filling in for an injured Nico Hoerner but if he keeps up this production the Cubs will have no choice but to find a starting spot for him. He had nearly a full season in the majors last year putting up less than impressive numbers but this kind of fantasy production should not be ignored. Rostered in 19.7% of ESPN leagues, fantasy managers should give him a look but with the expectations of some regression or possibly being sent back down.

In order to get the most from your fantasy week it is important to map out your lineup. This can help ensure you are using all of your starts/innings in points leagues and maximizing your stats in category leagues. If a pitcher is making two starts in a week it can give your team an extra boost by giving you the flexibility of an extra roster spot or by being able to punish your opponent by starting a hot pitcher twice in a week. Here are all pitchers who are double dipping this week.

On January 8th of this year Liam Hendriks announced on social media that he was diagnosed with non-hodgkin’s lymphoma. It is now May 8th and he is already pitching in minor league rehab games on his journey to make it back to the White Sox roster. On May 3rd he spoke to the media for the first time since his diagnosis. He wore a shirt that said “struckout cancer.”, as it was the most important of his 724 career strikeouts.

Hendriks is a fan favorite around Chicago as he has a great sense of hu
