Don't strike out before the game even starts! Set your lineup now to prepare yourself for a victory this week.
"Just take the ball and throw it where you want to. Throw strikes. Home plate don't move."

Injury Report
Sean Murphy will not return to the Braves lineup for tonights game. Murphy injured his hamstring a few days ago and is not quite ready to come back. He shouldn’t require a trip to the IL as it is only a minor strain. With one or two more days rest we should see him slide back into the Braves dangerous lineup.
Carlos Rodon will be making his debut for the Yankees organization tonight. He will be making a rehab start for the Double-A Somerset Patriots. This is a huge step for Rodon as he has been sidelined with multiple injuries since before the season started. After three or four rehab starts we should see Rodon’s highly anticipated debut with the Yankees.
Cedric Mullins is beginning a rehab assignment tonight with the Triple-A Norfolk Tides. He has been sidelined for about a month with a right groin strain but looks to get back into the action. He will require a few games in the minors so we can expect him to be up sometime in the next week or two. Mullins looks to resume a productive fantasy season when he rejoins the Orioles young and hungry lineup.

Notable Performances
Max Scherzer threw 8 innings giving up one run, walking one and striking out 8 hitters in the Mets 11-1 over the Astros. This was the start fantasy managers were looking for after the veteran gave up 11 combined runs over his last two starts. Scherzer has been a bit inconsistent this season but he is still 6-2 with a 4.04 ERA and 68 K’s through 64.2 IP. All things considered the 38 year old has pitched decently well, just be prepared for a rough start here and there.
Luis Arraez went 5-5 with 2 RBI’s and a run scored in the Marlins 11-0 win over the Blue Jays. After recently letting his average dip to .390, he is now 11-14 in his last 3 games to bring his average back up to .400 on the year. The 26 year old is putting together a magical season and does not seem to be stopping hitting anytime soon. The only thing managers can complain about is his lack of power but he really makes it up with the barrage of hits.
Joey Votto went 2-3 with a HR, 3 RBI’s and a walk in his season debut. After undergoing shoulder and bicep surgery, the veteran returned after a 10 month absence. It will be interesting to see if the 39 year old can maintain success after struggling in his 22 game minor league rehab stint hitting .173 with 3 HR’s and 11 RBI’s. Aside from a huge 2021 season, Votto has struggled over the past few years but we will be rooting for the 6 time All Star.
