You don't want to be stuck in the dugout when your fantasy players hit a grand slam. Set your lineup now!
“People ask me what I do in the winter when there’s no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.”

Injury Report
Tony Gonsolin told reporters that he would need no more than four minor league starts to be ready to pitch for the Dodgers. Gonsolin had an unbelievable year last year in which he had a 2.14 ERA and went 16-1. The Dodgers would love to get him back and it looks like that will be at some point at the end of April.
Thairo Estrada fouled a ball off of his leg in yesterday's game vs the White Sox and exited the game. He hit a homerun in the 5th inning before exiting just a couple of innings later. The injury does not seem too urgent but his availability may be up in the air for a couple of games.
Joey Wendle was scratched from yesterday's lineup because of oblique soreness. Oblique injuries are tricky and he will likely miss a week or two. An update will hopefully come at some point today, but Wendle definitely will not be able to play in the next couple of games.

Notable Performances
Bryan Reynolds went 3-5 with 2 HR's and 2 RBI's in the Pirates 7-6 win over the Red Sox. In the midst of contract extension talks, the 28 year old is proving he's worth all he is asking for. Despite the dreaded Covid year Reynolds has performed well each season since being called up in 2019, even being named a first time All Star in 2021.
Freddy Peralta silenced the Mets bats while the Brewers offense exploded in a 10-0 route. The 27 year old threw 6 scoreless innings with 2 hits and 7 K's to shut down a Mets team that was 3-1 coming into the game. He has been a consistent part of a filthy Brewers rotation and looks to keep that rolling through 2023.
Drew Rasmussen allowed only 2 hits to go along with 7 K's through 6 scoreless innings in the Rays 6-2 win over the Nationals. The righty has been great for Tampa since coming over from MIL in 2021. He finished last season 11-7 with a 2.84 ERA and if this start is any indication of his 2023, things are looking up.
