Don't get caught looking. Set you fantasy baseball lineup!

Injury Report

Corbin Burnes is scheduled to make his next start on Sunday against the Red Sox. He exited his last start early after a minor pectoral strain but it seems like he has avoided a serious injury. Fantasy owners should have nothing to worry about as Burnes will likely be his normal, dominant self this weekend.

Carlos Rodón seems to have avoided any serious injury with his back. The power lefty has been on the IL with an arm injury but that seems to be fully healed. He has been dealing with some back tightness, but after testing everything seems relatively normal. There is not yet a definite timetable for him but he looks to be returning sometime in May, possibly in early June.

Starling Marte was removed from yesterday's game with neck stiffness. This is something he has dealt with before so the Mets may be pretty cautious with the veteran centerfielder. A trip the IL may be in the cards for Marte, but hopefully it is a minor enough injury that he can return after a couple of days.

Notable Performances

Tommy Edman went 3-4 with a HR and 5 RBI's in the Cardinals 14-5 win over the Diamondbacks. Performances like this are rare for Edman who is better known for his speed. Last season he had a modest 13 HR's and 57 RBI's to go along with 32 SB's. With only 1 stolen base so far this season, fantasy owners would like to see him a bit more aggressive on the basepaths. Especially when the rest of the league is running up a storm.

Nick Martinez earned the win in the Padres 1-0 victory over the Braves. This game was the definition of a pitcher's duel with just 10 total hits between the two teams. Martinez threw 7 shutout innings with 6 K's in just under 100 pitches. We'll keep an eye on the righty to see if he can get things rolling after picking up his first win of the year.

Jonah Heim went 2-4 with a HR, 3 RBI's and 3 runs scored as the Rangers routed the Royals 12-3. The catcher is quietly having a good season hitting .311 with 3 HR's and 11 RBI's. Heim will be the primary catcher until Mitch Garver's expected return in the beginning of May. He could be worth a pickup while he is getting consistent starts as it is incredibly difficult to find a decent offensive catcher.
