Injury Report
Yandy Díaz is day-to-day with a left groin injury. He exited his game against the Yankees on Sunday, and he still does not feel quite right. His MRI did not reveal anything serious, so hopefully, with a day or two more of rest, he will slide right back into that dangerous Rays lineup.
Manny Machado was hit in the left hand by a pitch early in yesterday's game. He was pulled from the game right away, which was not very reassuring for fantasy owners. However, X-rays came back negative, and Machado seemed to have avoided anything too serious. He may need a day or two to get over some soreness, but it does not seem like a trip to the IL is necessary.
Anthony Rendon was placed on the 10-day IL with a left groin strain. There was hope that Rendon would be able to avoid the IL, but unfortunately, that is not the case. He sustained the injury a few days ago, and it seems as though he'll need about two weeks to get back onto the field for the Angels.

Notable Performances
Joey Meneses went 4-5 with 4 RBI’s in the Nationals 10-3 win over the Mets. After hitting a promising .324 in his 56 game taste of the majors last season, the 31 year old has kept things rolling into this year. The Nats DH is hitting .300 with 2 HR’s and 22 RBI’s on the year. Fantasy managers should be happy with his ability to get the bat on the ball but would love to see some higher power production.
Michael Wacha was locked in last night, taking a no hitter into the 8th inning before finally surrendering a hit while striking out 11 batters along the way. The veteran has been effective as of late, giving up only 1 run over his last 19 innings pitched. The 31 year old has had an up and down career but it is good to see he still has performances like this in him.
Shohei Ohtani had a day at the plate going 4-5 with a homer, 3 RBI’s and 3 runs scored. If that wasn’t enough contribution, he also earned the win on the mound going 7 innings while striking out 5 and giving up 5 runs. The phenom has been excellent this season both at the plate and on the mound. He is hitting .303 with 9 HR’s and 29 RBI’s to go along with a 5-1 record and 3.23 ERA while leading the AL with 71 K’s. The 28 year old seems to get better each year and has no intentions of slowing down.
