Daily Reminder

Don't strikeout on setting your fantasy baseball lineup! Remember to check your roster before first pitch.
Baseball is almost the orderly thing in a very unorderly world. If you get three strikes, even the best lawyer in the world can't get you off.

Injury Report
Max Fried left his opening day start with hamstring discomfort. He will undergo further testing, but the injury is not considered to be too serious. He will likely have a short stint on the IL, however this shouldn't be an injury that will bug him all year.
Wilson Contreras took a 103 MPH Jordan Hicks sinker of the knee flap of his shin guard. He exited the game after the incident as he could not put much pressure on his right knee. His x-rays came back negative so the Cardinals are confident it is just a contusion and he will be back within a few days.
Daniel Bard is going to be taking a trip to the 15 day IL due to anxiety. He has been transparent with his struggles to find his pitch command ever since his rough outing in the WBC semi-final game. It is unclear how long he will be gone for, but the Rockies will need to rely on a number of guys to close out their games in the mean time.

Notable Performances
Cj Cron: Going 4-5 with 2 HRs and 5 RBIs, the 33 year old is looking to top his last season which led to him being named an All Star for the first time in his 9 year career. The 1B hit .257 with 29 HRs and 102 RBIs and this performance is an encouraging sign for fantasy owners that he can continue the production.
Max Muncy: Muncy had one of the more forgettable Opening Days going 0-5 with 5 K's. He had a decent spring hitting .295 with 3 HRs so maybe it was just some Opening Day jitters. The good news is he at least went down swinging on 4 of the strikeouts.
Marcus Stroman: The righty threw 6 scoreless innings with 8 K's while only giving up 3 hits in the Cubs 4-0 win against the Brewers. The 31 year old seems to be picking up right where he left off after finishing the spring with a 0.90 ERA with 10 K's through 10 IP.
