7th Inning Stretch

Take a break from today and check out some of the best, and some of the worst, players from the past week.
"Every great batter works on the theory that the pitcher is more afraid of him than he is of the pitcher."

It's effortless to overlook a cold player in your starting lineup, which could end up costing you valuable points. Conversely, a player on a red-hot streak could be sitting on the bench simply because you're not familiar with their name. Identifying who's on fire and who's ice-cold could make all the difference between a triumphant win or a devastating loss for the week. With so many players in the league, it can be challenging to keep tabs on who's dominating and who's struggling. That's why we're here to provide you with the scorching hot and the rock-bottoms of today's players, so you can position yourself for a shot at lifting that coveted trophy.

Injury Report
J.D. Martinez was held out of yesterday's lineup with a minor back issue. He started feeling some slight pain on Sunday and he sat out yesterday's game to get a little extra rest. Martinez may be able to return to the Dodgers lineup tonight, if not in the next couple of days.
Will Smith started taking part in some agility drills yesterday. The all-star catcher has been suffering from a concussion but has not been participating in baseball activities. It is a great sign that Smith is doing agility and will hopefully start hitting and catching again soon. There is hope he will be able to return to play next week and would slide right back into the heart of the Dodgers lineup.
Corey Seager has resumed baseball activities as of Monday. The shortstop is working his way back from a left hamstring strain and began taking some swings earlier this week. He is projected to be back sometime in mid May but it is a great sign that Seager is moving around and taking steps towards being fully healthy.
